Simpsons Game of Thrones: The episode "The Simpsons" in 2017 predicts this turn of "Game of Thrones"

"The Simpsons" did it again. The long series of animated comedies that has the gift of predicting events predicted the explosive outcome of the penultimate episode of "Game of Thrones" – two years ago.

During the fifth episode of season 8In a raging revenge crisis, Daenerys Targaryen and his dragon, Drogon, set on fire King 's Landing on his quest to govern the Seven Kingdoms. Almost the entire city has been reduced to ashes at the end of "The Bells".

Twitter users commented that one episode of the 2017 Simpsons parodying the series had some strong similarities with the episode of Thrones last Sunday. In the premiere of season 29 of "The Simpsons" titled "Serfsons," the episode tells how Lisa is forced to use illegal magic when Marge's mother is turned into Ice Walker, according to IMDB. Towards the end of "Serfsons", there is a scene where Homer, Marge, Lisa and Bart observe a distant hill when a red dragon fires a city – and looks like Drogon that leaves her in flames.

Twitter was impressed by the way "The Simpsons" were able to nail the accuracy of this plot point in the episode of Thrones.

Other Twitter users have been obsessed with how comedy writers have been able to predict another future event.

"Well, cursed, they predicted the future again", a Twitter user wrote.

Among the notable predictions of the series, the Simpsons prefigured Donald Trump becomes president the United States, Super Bowl performance of Lady Gaga and the US team's curling team winning gold at the 2018 Winter Olympics.
