Amazon on Tuesday launched a new $ 1.4 billion Kentucky air center, which will allow it to better control its own shipments and reduce its dependence on airframes. UPS, FedEx and the US Postal Service.

The air hub of the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky International Airport was announced in 2017 and is expected to open in 2021. About 50 aircraft will be operated from the hub and 2,000 Amazon employees will work there, according to Amazon.
"This hub will allow us to send parcels faster to customers.We will move premium from two days to one day," Bezos said Tuesday, according to the Cincinnati Business Courier.
