Tiger Woods joses to John Daly with a golf cart at the PGA Championship: "I was walking on a broken leg"

The 2019 PGA Championship at Bethpage Black has a one-of-a-kind field, bringing together PGA club professionals from across the country and 99 of the top 100 players in the official golf world rankings. But the pitch will also be unique as it will include a competitor moving on the course in a golf cart.

1991 PGA Championship winner John Daly still has his place in the packis a golf cart approved for this year's tournament. Daly blames a bad knee preventing him from walking on the course during his appearance this year.

"I hope the fans are not going to struggle much," Daly told AP. "My knee is screwed up .. I've had the meniscus cut off .. I have osteoarthritis so badly … I can climb a hill, I can not get off one."

It's unclear whether Daly will catch the heartache of his fans, but he has already been ruled out of Masters champion Tiger Woods. Woods had been questioned about the use of a golf cart by Daly during his press visit on Tuesday, and he had responded with an epic provocation, referring to his own performance by winning the trophy.
