A Georgia couple convicted of murdering a 15-day-old girl while he was on methamphetamine

According to one report, a young Georgian couple bred about methamphetamine was convicted of murdering their baby.

FOX 5 Atlanta has announced that Courtney Marie Bell and Christopher McNabb would face stiff sentences for the death of their 15-day daughter, Caliyah, in 2017.

McNabb was sentenced to life in prison without parole plus 10 years.

Bell was sentenced to 30 years in prison and an additional 10 years of imprisonment.

The jury declared the couple guilty in one hour.

The couple reported the disappearance of their daughter. the girl was found in a bag that belonged to McNabb.

When convicted, Bell said, "You all know that I did not do that."

Judge John Ott of the Superior Court told Bell that, according to the media, his actions "go against what any mother would do" using methamphetamine.
