Former WWE Superstar, Ashley Massaro, has died, the organization said Thursday. She was 39 years old.
"We are saddened to learn of the tragic death of former WWE superstar, Ashley Massaro," said WWE in a statement.
"She played at the WWE from 2005 to 2008 and was loved by fellow superstars and fans around the world, and WWE extends her condolences to Ashley's family and friends."

According to TMZ, citing officials, Massaro was reportedly rushed to his home in Suffolk County, New York, NY. She was pronounced dead on Thursday morning.
According to media reports, officials do not currently reveal any cause of death. However, the death of Massaro would have been classified in the category "non-criminal".

Massaro won the "WWE Diva Search" in 2005 and remained in the organization for three years.

She has competed in two WrestleMania games – including one for the Women's Championship in 2007 – and was team valet by team Paul London and Brian Kendrick.
In addition to wrestling, Massaro participated in "Survivor: China" in 2007. The same year, she also appeared on the cover of Playboy magazine of the month of April, which she debuted at from an episode of "Smackdown".
US Weekly reports that his daughter, Alexa, is survived.
