Actor Jamie Foxx caused a laugh crisis among his cast colleagues on Wednesday when he missed his lines and then acknowledged that it was a live TV show.

"It's live … everyone is sitting at home just [thinking] their television just messed up, "said Foxx, who plays George Jefferson in the All in the family Redux live.

The public of the studio was pushed to crack. Distribution quickly followed suit.

Foxx circled the room, then burst out laughing before continuing his sentence.

Producer Norman Lear and his Act III Productions acts are behind the live remake, studded with stars All in the family – as good as The Jefferson – broadcast on ABC.

Lear said the emissions of the '70s were relevant today.

"I will tell you, seriously, that the most amazing thing is to listen to these two series where we agreed word for word, we would not change a word, and nothing was changed, and I can not believe how relevant it is for this moment, "he told Deadline before the promotion aired.
