Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson thinks the Reds' Marbella training camp will help in the Champions League final as the weather in Madrid is likely to be identical to that of the Andalusian coast.
The Reds will face Premier League contender Tottenham Hotspur at Wanda Metropolitano Stadium in Madrid next Saturday as they attempt to win their sixth European Cup.
After being narrowly beaten by Manchester City in the Premier League title race, Jurgen Klopp's players are hoping to end their campaign on a positive note by lifting the Champions League in Madrid.
In anticipation of the final, Liverpool is currently in Marbella, Spain, for a six-day training camp. Alisson is confident that the pre-final trip will help them to be at their best.
"It's good for preparation, it's good for us to keep our minds safe from the outside world"Alisson told the official website of his club.
"Coming here is special for us, we can have more time together and talk more – it's important for a team that wants to achieve great things.
"It's nice – a perfect time to work.
"It's a little hot compared to what we are used to for training [in Liverpool] but this is the weather we will find in Madrid, so it's good for us. "
Alisson, who had a great first season in Liverpool so far, has kept 21 white sheets in the Premier League to win the Golden Glove Award this season.
