An amazing video filmed by a Dutch astronomer captured a chain of about 60 Starlink satellites zooming into the night sky, a day after launching them in orbit.
The video shows the "train" of satellites traveling in a straight line orbiting the Earth.
Astronomer Marco Langbroek wrote in a blog post that he had himself calculated research into orbit to find out when they would pass and that he was "ready" with his camera. The train passed within three minutes after the scheduled time.
"It started with two weak, flashing objects moving in the field of view, and then, a few tens of seconds later, my jaw sank when the" train "entered the field of view." Langbroek writes. "I could not stop myself from shouting" OAAAAAH !!!! "(followed by some curses …)."

The satellites were launched Thursday night by SpaceX, the rocket company of Elon Musk. The company's goal is to eventually launch up to 12,000 telecommunications satellites, with the intention of creating a network capable of providing Internet access all over the planet and moving Internet traffic almost at the speed of light.
Dave Mosher contributed to the reports.
