Mike Yastrzemski, grandson of Hall of Fame member Carl Yastrzemski, had his first major league win on Sunday.

The San Francisco Giants rookie opted to leave the second round on Sunday against the Arizona Diamondbacks, but was sent off after skirting the base too far.

He then conceded a single inside at the end of the fifth inning and a left double at the end of the seventh, finishing 3-for-4 with a point scored in the Giants' 6-2 loss.

He made his major league debut on Saturday for the Giants after more than six years in the minor leagues. He scored a 0-3 with two strikeouts and a volley ending in a 10-4 loss to the Diamondbacks.

He started in the left field on Saturday and Sunday.

Yastrzemski, 28, was traded to the Giants in March by the Baltimore Orioles, with whom he made his first major league spring training this year.
