Two OnePlus 7 Pro users discovered that their devices behaved very strangely. It seems that the dual-curve 90Hz OLED display suffers from ghosting and therefore you notice unwanted "keystrokes" or applications that respond automatically, even without touching it.
This problem seems to be more apparent on some applications like CPU-Z and others have also reported similar problems on other messaging applications. At first glance, many have been able to reproduce the problem with CPU-Z. Just launch the application and you can see that the top bar starts to go crazy despite the fact that the phone is left idle.
Some tech sites such as The Verge are facing the same problem with their review units. Some users have tried to lower the refresh rate from 90Hz to 60Hz, but the problem persists.
Several users have posted their experience on the official OnePlus forum and it seems that the bug has been recognized by the OnePlus team. If this problem annoys you, you can apparently fix it temporarily by disabling NFC from the Quick Settings notification bar.
