The new vote of the MLB star players begins with "primary"

The new format of the Major League Baseball to elect starters for the all-star game was put in place from Tuesday's "primary" vote, it was announced.

The vote began Tuesday at 14h. AND with a "primary" phase that includes a representative of each team in each position, including the designated hitter in the American Hockey League. The main vote will end at 4 pm AND June 21, and the players with the highest number of votes for each of the three positions will be announced that night on the MLB network.

The secondary phase, called "The Election of Runners", will begin at noon ET five days later and will last 28 hours. The results, which will be reset from the primary, will choose catchers, four internal positions and three forwards for each league and will be announced on ESPN at 7pm. HE June 27th.

The rest of the 23 AHL and 24 National League players, including all throwers, will be selected by ballot, as well as AL Manager Alex Cora of the Boston Red Sox and NL manager Dave Roberts of the Los Angeles Dodgers.

Complete alignments will be announced on June 30 at 5:30 pm. AND on ESPN.

MLB works in partnership with Google in the online voting system only. Searching for "MLB Vote" on Google will take fans to the ballot, which can also be broadcast via MLB.com and several MLB mobile apps.

The all-star game is scheduled to take place at the Progressive Field in Cleveland on July 9th.
