WACO, Texas (KWTX) Sanderson Farms, whose Waco processing plant is one of the largest employers in the city, has announced it will increase hourly wage rates starting this Sunday.
Line operators who have been working with the company for at least 90 days will receive at least $ 15 an hour, the company said, and Sanderson Farm truck drivers would be paid between $ 20.35 and $ 22. , 90 dollars an hour.
Hourly maintenance staff will be paid between $ 19.95 and $ 27.45 at the hour, the company said.

The company employs a total of 15,000 people in five states and 17 cities.
