President Trump was in Virginia Sunday for a special religious service in prayer for victims of mass shooting in Virginia Beach.
Trump, wearing khaki and a jacket, wearing a polo and holding a golf hat, was applauded by the congregation upon his arrival at the McLean Bible Church.
While he was not speaking during the service, Trump was standing behind Pastor David Platt as he offered a prayer for the 12 dead during Friday's mass shooting.
The president was there to "visit the pastor and pray for the victims and the community of Virginia Beach," said Judd Deere, deputy press secretary of the White House.
Trump arrived around 2:20 pm and his motorcade left a little more than 15 minutes later.
DeWayne Craddock, 40, shot dead 12 people at the Virginia Beach Municipal Building on Friday, just hours after quitting her job as a civil engineer.
