Nintendo Direct E3 2019
Tuesday 11th June – 09:00 PT / 12:00 EST / 5:00 PM CET / 6:00 PM CET
Yes, it's the big one. We do not know yet how long it will last, but we can expect an incredible number of titles for 2019 Switch such as Crossing of animals, Luigi's Mansion 3, Astral chain, The legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening and more, plus some juicy surprises. It will probably also be the direct debut of Doug Bowser, president of Nintendo of America, after the retirement of Reggie. We are therefore eager to see how he will fill the considerable shoes of his predecessor. It is said that it focuses "entirely on software", but Nintendo is famous for finishing on a "oh, and one more thing …" note, so we would not make any cuts. Watch our video with Alex and Zion discussing what they expect from Nintendo at E3 2019.
Nintendo Treehouse Live E3 2019
Tuesday 11th June – Thursday 13th June
Following the model of recent years, Nintendo will broadcast live the show on the E3 with guests and comments accompanying the game titles discussed in the Direct. This is a continuous flow throughout the three days of the event, so you can stop and disconnect at any time. We will monitor everything, of course, so that you can keep up to date with everything you are missing by watching this site.
That's all Nintendo has planned for this year, but what about other companies? Well, here are the times for other conferences that you might want to monitor:
Sunday 9th June – 13:00 PT / 16:00 EST / 21:00 CET / 22:00 CET – Microsoft
Sunday 9th June – 5.30 pm PT / 8.30 pm EST / 1:30 am BST (Monday) / 2:30 pm CET (Monday) – Bethesda
Monday 10th June – 13:00 PT / 16:00 EST / 21:00 CET / 22:00 CET – Ubisoft
Monday 10th June – 18h00 PT / 21h00 EST / 02h00 BST (Tuesday) / 03h00 CET (Tuesday) – Square Enix
We have included Microsoft in case you want to see what the competition has to offer, although Nintendo and Microsoft are becoming more and more friends every day, the Microsoft conference could be more relevant than ever for Nintendo fans! We will see more about the next DOOM Eternal from Bethesda. Ubisoft and Nintendo have been best friends for a while and we are intrigued to see what Ubisoft has in store for Switch – a sequel to Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battleperhaps? Square Enix are likely to have Dragon Quest news for Switch, too, so this might be helpful to keep an eye on.
As always, we will cover every juicy ad and every moment of the event. So do not worry if small things like, for example, "sleep" have priority over a conference or two. Until then, what is meant? This is the sound of the train arriving at the station. All aboard!
