The latest version of iOS, probably called 13, will probably not mark a radical overhaul, but will feature a series of incremental enhancements such as "dark mode".
The end of iTunes is also planned – Apple (NASDAQ: AAPL) incorporating music into its own application – as well as updates to make the Apple Watch more independent.
Do not expect a lot of new hardware, but it is possible that Apple is talking about a high-end Mac desktop computer, which would fit with the conference's goal in programming.
WWDC begins at 1 pm ET with a keynote broadcast live at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose, California.
