Google is finally ready to unveil more information on the Google Stadia streaming platform, which is expected to debut later this year in a feed later this week.
Google announced today the very first edition of Stadia Connect. A presentation (named Nintendo Direct or State of Play-esque) will be broadcast on June 6 at 9:00 am (Paris time). Google promises pricing Stadia, launch information (that it's an exact date or just a calendar, is not clear) – and ads from game will be included in Connect.
Google has announced the creation of a studio for the development of Stadia at GDC 2019, but it is unclear whether this studio will showcase everything it has worked on until now.
Exit before E3, Google will keep its promise of Google Stadia, revealing the keynote speech to offer more consumer-oriented information this summer.
Among the games announced or presented in partnership with Stadia, Doom Eternal and Assassin's Creed Odyssey were among the games announced or presented in partnership with others. Google's Phil Harrison actually told IGN that Assassin's Creed Odyssey was telling Google's ambitions about stadiums.
IGN collaborated with Google Stadia at GDC 2019. He was also able to literally use Stadia Controller, Google's custom controller, to take full advantage of Stadia's streaming and sharing capabilities.
