Another Google app is buried early August

Google Trips receives the ax as of August 5, recently confirmed the search giant. The decision is not at all surprising since Google has recently redesigned the Trips application on the Web, intended to replace the Android application.

The app is still available for download on the Google Play Store, and nothing says that Trips has been killed. However, the Google Trips support page has been updated to reflect the changes, says the XDA developer.

Support for the Google Trips app will expire on August 5, 2019. Until then, you will still be able to access all the bookings and ratings of your trip and send them by email as usual .

Google does not seem to want to replace Trips with another mobile app. Users should instead start to see the information that would normally be provided by Trips in other Google services, including Search and Maps.

Nevertheless, if you can not live without Google Trips, you can still use the web application after August 5, especially now that Google has given it a new look.
