Apple's new iPadOS software includes support for the mouse as an accessibility option

According to rumors, iPadOS introduces for the first time the support of the mouse, allowing a USB mouse to be connected to an iPad for the first time.

Mouse support is not a standard feature, but it is available as a AssistiveTouch option in the accessibility settings of your iOS device. According to developer Steve Troughton-Smith, who discovered this feature, it also works with Apple's Magic Trackpad.

As with other AssistiveTouch features, the mouse cursor on the screen looks like the touch target normally under iOS, instead simulating finger contact with a mouse.

Although it is an accessibility option at the present time and the user experience is not optimal compared to the touch, Apple could implement a mouse support in future updates, making it a more traditional option.

iPadOS, the operating system that runs on the iPad, also offers many other features such as multitasking updates, improved gestures, etc., and in the future, it will be independent of iOS, even if it always includes all iOS 13 features.
