Anyone who has ever made their own combination of sodas with the help of a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine now has the option of sharing their recipe with the rest of the country and earning $ 10,000.
The company announced Saturday the contest "Make Your Mix" on social networks. The winner will receive prize money and the combination will be presented on Coca-Cola Freestyle machines in the United States.
"Do you think you have a mix of $ 10,000?" Here is your chance to show it. Create a unique blend of Coca-Cola® Freestyle® to share with the world. If your combination wins, you will have the right to boast and an additional $ 10,000, "said the contest website.
Candidates should post their recipe (or description) and a photo of their mix or "something that inspired your mix" on Twitter or Instagram with the hashtag: "#MakeYourMix" according to the contest rules.
However, the recipe can not have more than three components and all parts must come from a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine.
The deadline to participate is June 30th. Five finalists will be chosen by a "jury of qualified judges" to be announced between July 15th and August 25th. Each of the five finalists will receive a prize of $ 100, in accordance with the rules.
On August 26th, the finalists' mixes will be presented online and on Freestyle machines, where people will be able to taste and vote for their favorite until the voting deadline of November 4th.

The contest is just a way to formalize what people are already doing, CN Green Make, Sarah Greenberg Sachs, Marketing Director at Coca-Cola Freestyle told CNBC.
"We just wanted to reward consumers who have already done something: to be creative, experiment and mix the brands they love," said Greenberg Sachs.
In May, Coca-Cola announced that it would bring back New Coke for a limited time before the first season of the Netflix "Stranger Things" series, which will feature the product throughout the season. The third season of the series will take place in the summer of 1985, the same year, Coca-Cola changed its formula and launched New Coke only to receive a flood of complaints in a few days.
