RICHMOND, Ky. – A Kentucky man is accused of beating his toddler and repeatedly hitting the 3-month-old boy on the ground, causing him 27 fractures and other injuries.
According to media reports, Sean Dykes, 24, was arrested Thursday and charged with minor abuse and domestic violence.
An arrest report indicates that the authorities responded to a complaint about a wounded baby last week. She was found fractured, bruised, bleeding from her eyes and had other internal injuries.
Deputy Police Chief Richmond, Rodney Richardson, said, "It's unimaginable that a father can do this to their daughter."
Dykes was also charged in March with throwing down his girlfriend and mother and attempting to strangle one of them.
He is detained without bail. We do not know if he has a lawyer.
