Dashboard, a long-time Mac feature that Apple has been phasing out for a few years, has been phased out of macOS Catalina and is no longer available.
The Dashboard option, introduced for the first time in OS X 10.4 Tiger, was previously an important Mac feature, housing sticky notes, a weather interface, a clock, a calculator and other customizable widgets.
It has been disabled by default from macOS 10.10 Yosemite. In the current version of macOS, Mojave, it is always off, unless you search for it, activate it in Mission Control, or add it to the Dock.
In Catalina, there is no more dashboard application, as underlines Appleosophie. It can not be activated via Mission Control and there is no record of it in the operating system, thus marking its official demise.
