At the 2019 World Developer Conference, Apple announced that iTunes, as we know it, would no longer exist. Instead, it will be replaced by applications like Apple Music and Podcasts. Launched in 2001 as a music library manager, the app has become a music store, a movie and TV show shop, an iPod media manager, an iPhone manager, an App Store, and hosts various other content. However, it has been instrumental in reversing Apple's economic downturn and has prompted many PC users to try the Apple software for the first time.
