Rihanna Named the World's Richest Female Musician by Forbes

With a fortune of $ 600 million, Rihanna certainly knows what it means to "work, work, work, work, work," as suggested by the lyrics of her hit song of 2016.

The 31-year-old singer is not only one of America's richest self-made women, according to the Forbes list released Tuesday, but is also the richest musician in the world, according to the newspaper.

The entrepreneur born in Barbados is even richer than Beyoncé, who has $ 400 million.

Rihanna's line of cosmetics, Fenty Beauty, helped her a lot in building her fortune. She started the brand in September 2017 at Sephora and, last year, the company achieved an estimated $ 570 million in sales, Forbes said.

The company, which Forbes estimates is valued at $ 3 billion, also belongs in part to LVMH, the French conglomerate of luxury goods. The partnership between the singer "Diamonds" and LVMH has also resulted in a Paris-based fashion line called Fenty, which was announced in May.

Overall, the singer "Stay" is numbered 37 on the self-produced women's list, including Oprah Winfrey, Serena Williams and Kylie Jenner.

The list of 80 successful self-determined women aged 21 to 92 is $ 81.3 billion. Of the 80 selected women, 25 are billionaires.
