Home " Characteristics " 4 predictions for the sword and the Pokémon Shield happening tomorrow
Nintendo and The Pokemon Company are offering fans a 15-minute preview of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield, the two latest Pokemon games on the market that will be available at Switch later this year.
Hopefully, Nintendo Direct, focused on Pokemon, will solve some questions we have about this pair of RPGs and will provide us with more sought after information.
Here are 5 things we hope to see in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield Direct.
Startup evolutions
The internet exploded once the new Pokemon starter of the Galar region was announced. Fans have created groups and teams on Twitter to encourage their favorite band. You had Sobble Squad, Grookey Gang, Scorbunny Stans and many more.
We loved seeing all their personalities play in their introductory little videos, but we've never seen their subsequent evolutions, which will make all the difference when it comes to choosing with who spend our trip.
For my part, I have a hard time choosing a starter from the first look – I need to know their final changes before making a choice.
Will Sobble still be so cute after level 36 or whatever? Will Grookey turn into a huge scary gorilla? We hope these questions will be answered in tomorrow's presentation.
gyms
Traditionally, Pokémon games require the player to face eight different gym officials, each with respective Pokemon typography. You have your lawn gym, your fire gym and six others that match other types.
GameFreak has slightly changed the game with the latest generation of Pokemon, Sun and Moon and removed the gyms games. These have been replaced by challenges with different objectives.
In the trailer of Sword and Shield, we had a glimpse of a building that looked like a typical Pokemon gym, but we're still not sure that there will be eight, and we're not sure not sure that there will be some kind of Pokemon League either.
In Pokemon Direct, we would like to see some of the gym leaders (if any) and a detailed description of how the game will work with progression.
More Pokemon
If you go back and look at the first revelation, there was indeed a decent amount of Pokémon that were confirmed to make their appearance in the Galar region. We saw Pikachu (of course), Wailord, Hoothoot, Flygon and about 20 others.
What we have not seen yet is a new Pokémon that will be exclusive to the Galar region. The only "new" Pokémon we've seen are the three starters and that's it.
At tomorrow's presentation, we want to see much more of what the region has to offer. What type of Pokémon lives in this British-inspired land? Will we see cool and creative creations this time around? Will there be too much of a Pokemon type?
The size of Pokedex is another important issue that we hope will get an answer when Pokemon Direct. There is no point in a new region if there are no new Pokémon to rub shoulders!
Release date of the sword and the Pokemon shield
Last February, during the huge Pokemon Direct, the Pokemon company presented us the starting Pokémon that we would have to choose at the beginning of the game. We took a look at the new region and we could have a -taste this new mainline titles.
However, a very important aspect that has been left out by Sword and Shield is the actual release date.
All that was said was that the pair of games would be launched towards the end of the year, but if the company stays true to its windows of publication, we can expect that these games are launched at the end of the year. end of October or most likely in November – the month Pokemon games are published in.
Tomorrow, during the Pokemon Direct, we are almost certain that we will have a specific date. Pokemon fans (like me) are hungry for more information and look forward to exploring the Galar region.
