Pegasus internal storage from Promise custom designed for the new Mac Pro

Just after the announcement of WWDC's major Apple Mac Pro, Promise Technology Inc. announced today new internal storage options for the Mac Pro. The promise Pegasus R4i and Pegasus J2i.

These two MPX modules simply slide into the Mac Pro's MPX slot for seamless integration.

Promise Pegasus J2i: 2-Bay Internal Storage Enclosure for New Mac Pro

  • Pre-installed 8 TB 7200 rpm SATA hard drive pre-installed
  • Bay for an optional extra hard drive (to be installed by customers)
  • Custom internal cable

Availability

These systems, jointly designed for easy installation in Mac Pro and MacOS Bothe, work perfectly with a 3-year hardware warranty and are supported by Promise's global team.

Pegasus R4i and Pegasus J2i will be available later this year to be purchased worldwide on the Apple Store, Apple Premium Resellers and via the global network of Promise Distributors. The price has not been announced.
