We know that members of the royal family have rules for just about everything, from the way they dress to the sitting position, to the foods that they can not eat. Yes, just about everything so there must be a specific rule or protocol on tattoos and where they can get them, right?

Princes have tattoos?
To this day, Prince William has no tattoos. However, the prince wanted to be tattooed back a few years ago until Kate Middleton dissuaded him. The future king would have liked to have a similar one to the former football star of David Beckham, a guardian angel.
A sailor deployed with the prince aboard the HMS Iron Duke in the Caribbean, told the William that William absolutely wanted to get the ink, but that Middleton, who was his girlfriend at the time, had not approved.

Do the duchesses have tattoos?
In 2018, Middleton was spotted with a small mark on his right hand at the opening of a new artist residency in Sunderland, England. This led many to wonder if and when the Duchess of Cambridge would get tattooed. However, Middleton's work was only temporary.
During a conversation with a group of Young Asian Voices, one of the girls asked the Duchess if she could draw a henna tattoo on her hand.

Which royal has several tattoos?
Many wondered whether dukes and duchesses were tattooed if they broke any protocol. The answer is no, because members of the royal family have no rules against family members who are getting inked. In fact, some of them have permanent tattoos.
Lady Amelia Windsor, third cousin of William and Harry, wears several tattoos. The Daily Mail noted that she had one on the rib cage and one on each wrist, as well as a tiger on her shoulder.
Other royal families in Europe do not seem to have the rule against fouling: Princess Sofia of Sweden, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Princess Stephanie of Monaco all wear tattoos.
