A Russian fighter jet intercepted a US Navy aircraft on Tuesday as it flew over the Mediterranean Sea.
Russia's Sukhoi Su-35 has intercepted three times in 175 minutes the American Poseidon P-8A, according to a press release issued by the US 6th Fleet. Two interactions were deemed safe, but one was dangerous because the jet was flying at high speed directly in front of the Navy aircraft.
