The Cleveland Browns on Tuesday launched Day 1 of the mandatory minicamp. Minicamp will last three days and end Thursday. This will be the last off-season program of the team before the start of training camp in late July.

REMINDER OF THE MINICAMP DE BROWNS – DAY 1 (TUESDAY)

1. Duc JohnsonTransaction request: The interviews with the players took place before the start of the tests and the person who dominated the news was RB. Duc Johnson. He reiterated his request for an exchange, but said he would remain professional as long as he remained a member of the Browns. You can read the full story here, but the head coach Freddie Kitchens also had a funny comment about it:

Johnson also took part in the practice, as you can see go through a simple walk here.

2 Odell Beckham Jr. Take the field: I have never worried about all the OTAs that WR Odell Beckham Jr. was having. Yes, I understand the debates that can be made on the chemistry of construction and on the example, but let's be real. We know that Beckham is a proven superstar player, unlike anyone the Browns have had in this position. He does what he wants and he will fight to be a winner here. When the mandatory minicamp came on Tuesday, Beckham was alive in the flesh:

Beckham will have his preliminary interview with the media on Wednesday. Before leaving Beckham, here's a touchdown for the red zone to savor – from Mayfield to Beckham:

3 Landry Sitting outside Minicamp: WR Jarvis Landry has a minor injury that will keep him out of minicamp. He said that no surgery is necessary, but did not reveal the nature of the injury. He expects to be ready for the start of the training camp. By Daryl Ruiter on 92.3 the Fan, here are the other players who did not train on Tuesday:

4 Austin Corbett from the right guard: One of the biggest stories coming out of OTAs was the fact that Kyle Kalis was running with the first team offense to the right guard as opposed to Austin Corbett. At least for the first day of minicamp, that changed – Corbett was part of the offensive line of the first team.

Jake Burns of OBR noted that the offensive line of the second team consisted of LT Kendall Lamm, LG Bryan Witzmann, C Brian Kush, RG Kyle Kalisand RT Brad Seaton.

5. Early return candidates: With SS Jabrill Peppers traded to the giants, some of the first candidates to return punts (based on the first minicamp practice) included WR Antonio Callaway, WR Ismael Hymanand WR Damon Sheehy-Guiseppi.

6. Players on the test: There are still players trying to make an impression to join the Browns roster on a test basis. They include the following recruits: WR Micah Wright, WR Darrion Landry, WR Jovon Durante, OT Ka'John Armstrongand LS James Fisher. First-year player DT Anthony Mason also try, just like the fifth year, DT Ethan Westbrooks.

7. Brownies: S Jermaine Whitehead intercepted a pass by QB Baker Mayfieldand CB Denzel Ward got QB Drew Stanton. … Jake Burns OBR believes that, based on the representatives, CB Williams greedy looked like the "absolute starter" of the corner-half alongside Ward. … by Ben Axelrod from WKYC, LB Adarius Taylor was with Joe Schobert and Christian Kirksey on the defense of the first team, while LB Genard Avery was used as a scorer of the second team. … Axelrod also noted a nice red pass for QB Garrett Gilbert transferred to WR D.J. Montgomery. … rookie K Austin Seibert connected on a 48-yard placement in a hurry. … QB Drew Stanton had a good day:

8. Next Up: The second day of the Browns minicamp will take place on Wednesday from 14:30 to 16:30.
