Google is definitely on the move when it comes to upgrading its applications to the next Android Q design language. As some of you may already know, Android Q will add a dark mode to the system scale, but will not be activated when you use applications.
This is how the Mountain View giant has begun to add the dark mode option to many of its applications. We have already reported that some applications, including Calendar and Keep, have already been updated with the new feature.
Well, it looks like Photos is the next Google app to have a dark theme, according to reports from XDA Developers. The latest version of Google Photos allows users to go into dark mode, but we do not know yet whether it is a global deployment or not.
We know that the dark theme has been detected for the first time in Google Photos version 4.17.0.249919200. If you have it installed on your Android phone, you should be able to see it. Otherwise, we will simply have to wait for a broader deployment, which could take place in the next few days or even weeks.
