Next week is going to be very exciting if you like video games. This year's Electronic Entertainment Expo, better known as E3, returns to Los Angeles from Tuesday, June 11 through Thursday, June 13. During the show and the press conferences that preceded it, players will discover the biggest games to come. until the end of the year, next year and beyond.
Although the E3 is open to the public, it is an expensive ticket: a "pass for players" costs $ 249 this year. Fortunately, in Twitch's day, everyone lives live. Although you can not do everything that a fan can do during the show – play some of the games, wait a very long time – you can see most, if not all, games offered to the public during the show. You can watch all publisher "speaker" press conferences in the comfort of your own home, as well as official signs and many other live shows broadcast from the show. (Having seen the show myself many times, including the last two years to the public, I think watching at home is the best option for most people).
There are tons of emissions to go through, especially once the show starts. To help you keep track, we've compiled live feeds of all the biggest events and shows throughout the week.
Phase 1 – Before the show
The best parts of the E3, especially when you look from the house, take place even before the salon opens. Many of the biggest publishers hold press conferences and events in advance to present their most important announcements before the opening of the show, while keeping everyone's attention. All of these events are broadcast live and scheduled one after the other. So you can, in theory, watch them all and play with the rest of the world in real time. It's more like four full days than video game news, so maybe you just want to look at the calendar and pick your favorites. (That's all I want to say, it's supposed to be beautiful this weekend).

EA Play – 9:15 PT
Before E3, Electronic Arts – manufacturer of Madden, FIFA and Apex Legends, among other things – holds his own small public showcase, EA Play. Like other publishers, EA has held a press conference in recent years, but has decided to take a new direction in 2019. This year, a series of shows will simply be dedicated to each of its flagship games. Some, like Jedi: Fallen Order, Are new. Others, like the videos on Apex Legends and The Sims 4, will discuss changes to current games. Here is a schedule, so choose what you want to see.
- Countdown for EA Play (9:15 PT)

There will also be a competitive Super Mario Maker event, where streamers will attempt to beat particularly challenging levels created by Nintendo staff. Super Mario Maker 2, which comes out later this month.

Xbox Press Conference – 1pm (Pacific Time)
The Microsoft press conference appears to be the most important event of the series this year. Experts expect Microsoft to discuss next-generation Xbox consoles, as well as Project XCloud, the company's next streaming service. In addition, there will be many, many announcements of games, both for the exclusive Xbox One games and the upcoming third party games on the platform.
Bethesda Press Conference – 5.30 pm
Bethesda, makers of historic game franchises like Condemn, The old rollers, and Fallwill also hold its annual press conference. Entering the series, Bethesda has already said she would not discuss the upcoming Elder Scrolls game. The most exciting project in Bethesda is therefore Eternal Doom, following the well-liked 2016 Doom reboot.
Devolver Digital – 7pm Pacific Time
The independent publisher Devolver Digital is coming back with its pre-E3 satirical livestream. At the beginning of its third year, the prerecorded "show" showcases the publisher's games while mocking the tropics technological keynotes like those organized before E3 each year. It's pretty fun, but it's for people watching these events for many years.
Monday, June 10
The PC Gaming Show – 10am
While most of the games shown at E3 are available on both consoles and PCs, the significant presence of Microsoft and Nintendo (and, until this year, from Sony) gives the company a new look. impression of being more a game-oriented show for consoles. The PC Gaming Show, organized by PC Gamer magazine, is the keynote address for publishers who want to talk about PC exclusivity. The main ads are usually smaller than other keynotes, but it's still worth watching, especially if you miss the flavor of PC gaming.
Ubisoft Press Conference – 1 pm (Pacific Time)
Ubisoft, publisher of popular franchises such as Assassin's Creed, Far Cry and everything Tom Clancy, still has a lot of great news to share at E3, hence the keynote address. Ubisoft said that many of its known projects will not be present at E3. So there may be some surprises during this one. One thing we to have Heard of: Watchdogs: Legion, an ambitious third entry in the series of open-world actions on piracy.
Kinda Funny Games Showcase – 4:30 PT
Just like the PC Gaming Show, the Kinda Funny Games Showcase is an independent pre-E3 event run by the media. Assuming it works similarly to the group's first "showcase" video last December, this pre-recorded show will compile a series of trailers for unannounced independent games. The E3 event can be different, though? We will have to see!
There is no link at the moment, but you will be able to play the Kinda Funny Showcase movie on the band's YouTube channel when the time comes.
Square Enix Press Conference – 6:00 pm (Pacific Time)
Finally, Square Enix, editor of Final Fantasy, will hold a press conference to present its E3 offers. The Square Enix show could be very interesting this year: The company announced in advance that there would be news of its game Avengers in development for a long time. And of course, RPG fans are waiting for more information on the long awaited remake of Final Fantasy VII.
On its E3 page, Square Enix recommends watching its live stream on its website. sqex.link/e3. It seems that it will also be available via the Twitch channel of the company, which I integrated above.
Tuesday, June 11
Nintendo Direct: E3 Edition 2019 – 9am (Pacific Time)
As always, Nintendo completes the pre-E3 press conferences before an extended "Nintendo Direct" broadcast stream just before the show opens. You can expect to find out more about the upcoming Pokémon, Sword and Shield, Super Mario Maker 2 games, as well as many non-advertised games. Jason Schreier from Kotaku talked about Animal Crossing, but who knows? (Honestly, he probably does)
Phase 2 – During the show
At noon Pacific time on June 11, the E3 lounge opens and all bets are opened. You can assume that virtually all game developers and publishers will air a show every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, showing and dissecting games in the showroom. If you have followed or if you have a favorite game that you want to check, I recommend you go on the Twitch channel of this company. It is likely that you will have the opportunity to see more of the game you are looking for before. long.
If you want to get a more holistic view, there will also be lots of variety shows, featuring new games, providing analysis and impressions of what's happening on the show. Here are some radical options that should contain a lot of interesting content during the show that you will not find in a developer or news publication.
E3 Colosseum
When the Entertainment Software Association, organizer of the E3, opened the show to the public, she also introduced the E3 Coliseum, a series of panels for fans, where developers come to talk about their games and topics related to future games throughout the show. This year's program includes in-depth dives in some of the biggest titles to come, including the upcoming Call of Duty, Doom: Eternal, Borderland 3. Netflix also offers a panel on "bringing your shows to life", which seems interesting (and potentially).
Hosted by The Game Awards producer Geoff Keighley, the E3 Coliseum is broadcast live on YouTube, so fans at home also see the billboards. Keighley's "E3 Live" cover begins technically on Sunday, June 9th. It will also have a cover and comments for press conferences, if you want a little more flavor.
In recent years, YouTube has hosted the E3 Coliseum on its YouTube Gaming subsite. After closing, I recommend going straight to Keighley's company channel, GameSlice, where you should be able to find both live feeds for this year's panels and last year's recordings.
For a complete listing of all E3 Coliseum shows and schedules, see the official program schedule.
Tic
Not wanting to be outdone, Twitch is also very present at the E3 show and broadcasts developer interviews on everything that happens in the show.
On June 4th, Twitch had not yet released a schedule for its E3 programming, but if we rely on it last year, it seems safe to say that the channel will have the Opportunity to talk to all the great games and studios, which will make it a good channel to check if you are not looking for something specific.
