Haseley dropped a 0-2 scorer from Padres pitcher Craig Stammen on the left with a runner in first place and two outs in the eighth inning Wednesday afternoon at Petco Park. The ball rolled into the cut between the third goal and the left field post and touched the center field, allowing the fast Scott Kingery to score from the first goal. The Phillies took the lead in a spectacular 7-5 win over the road rescue.

Haseley made a quick sign to his teammates in the visitors' canoe as he stood on the second goal. His family and friends stood in the stands and applauded. The 23-year-old scored moments later on Andrew Knapp's single in center-left.

The Phillies took a flight to Philadelphia with two straight wins after five straight defeats, including three this weekend against the Dodgers in Los Angeles. Wednesday's win gave them a boost as they opened a six-game family run against the Reds and D-Backs.

Philadelphia scored three runs in the seventh inning to tie the game with two home runs by Cesar Hernandez, Bryce Harper and Jean Segura. After the Haseley hit gave the Phillies and Knapp the lead, the Phillies turned to Seranthony Dominguez to start the eighth. Dominguez left the match with an apparent injury, but Hector Neris has recorded the last five outs, including the blocked bases in the eighth.
