In its 300th career appearance, Sale achieved a truly dominant game performance, even by its high standards. The Royals had little luck Wednesday night, as Sale never allowed a runner to beat the first goal in an 8-0 Red Sox win at Kauffman Stadium.

Even though he managed seven innings, Sale got another notch in the eighth with a flawless run – nine shots and nine shots. He took out 12, which earned him a double in seven of his last eight outings.
