TURNERSVILLE, N.J. (WPVI) – New Jersey officials warn the public after testing positive for hepatitis A by a Dunkin & Donuts employee

The worker was employed at the store located at 460 Hurffville-Crosskeys Street in Turnersville.

This person may have been contagious between May 18th and June 1st.

Gloucester County officials say that while the risk for customers who eat or drink at the store is low, they recommend anyone who may be exposed to post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP).

To be effective, the EPP should be received as soon as possible, but no later than June 15, officials said.

To obtain PEP, contact your health care provider. If you do not have insurance or if your insurance does not cover vaccines, call the Gloucester County Health Department at 856-218-4101.

County officials said the store management was cooperating with the sanitary procedures and the investigation.
