The second season of Apex Legends will be called Battle Charge and will be released on July 2, 2019. In addition, the tenth legend, Wattson, has been revealed.

Wattson was introduced in the first Apex Legend cinematic for one of his characters. Her real name is Natalie Paquette and is the daughter of the main electrical engineer of the Games.

Its tactical capability is called Perimeter Security and connects "nodes to create electrified barriers that damage and slow enemies".

The passive capacity of Wattson is Spark of Genius. The Ultimate Accelerators completely charge Wattson's ultimate ability and "standing by the interception pylons increases your tactical ability recharge."

Its ultimate power is the interception pylon, where Wattson can "place an electrified pylon that destroys incoming ammunition and repairs damaged shields as long as it remains upright (Max: 3)".

Season 2 will come with a new weapon called L-Star, a so-called "So OP" skincare weapon. It is fully automatic and does not use ammunition collected on the ground, but comes with everything it can take. It was also presented for the first time in Titantfall 2, another Respawn title.

Four legendary skins will also be available in Season 2, including Prince of Darkness skins for Caustic and Jade Tiger skins for Octane. A Spitfire skin – The Intimidator – has been revealed next to the Iron Rampage skin for the E-301.

The combat pass is now based on challenges (daily and weekly), not based on the first season. Players will also earn enough level 100 crafting materials to create your own legendary weapon.

Season 2 will also bring a classified mode with six levels. It goes from Bronze to Apex Predator and uses special matches for each different level. Players will earn rewards based on their rank at the end of each season.

In this new season, Respawn chooses to focus on progress and reward players. As reported earlier this week at the announcement of The Legendary Hunt, Apex Legends players will now be able to move from level much faster to level 100 and the "rectification" will be much improved.

The Legendary Hunt takes place right now and asks players to rank in the Top 5 in any match, which will then allow you to be part of a queue of other Top 5 winners. There will also be Limited time challenges that will allow players to win rare, epic and legendary Skins. Plus, a Double XP weekend is taking place this weekend.

Apex Legends was only one of the games featured at EA PLAY 2019 and was a follow-up to the first game revelation of the other title of Respawn, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order.
