Just before the start of the football season, you can count on a new Madden game. This year, we're getting Madden NFL 20 with a number of new features and gameplay enhancements, and you can get your hands on the game a little earlier with its next closed beta test. It will run from June 14 at 12:00 ET to June 16 at midnight ET on the weekend following E3 2019, but only for a select few.
EA explained how to enter the closed beta. Those attending EA Play are lucky to get a beta code at the Madden booth on site. Between June 10th and June 14th, EA will distribute codes by feed / social media and you will have to follow the official Madden Twitch or Twitter account (@EAMaddenNFL). Developers will also participate in code distribution via MUTHEAD (Madden Ultimate Team) and Reddit. EA recommends consulting your email associated with your EA account for additional chances of obtaining beta codes, especially those who participated in the Madden Championship Series.
The closed beta is for users of PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, and the codes are exchangeable through the normal process of each platform. The closed beta will not include the new Face of the Franchise or MUT modes, but will allow you to play normal games as Chiefs, Rams, Patriots or Saints.
Be sure to check out all the other news and announcements from EA Play for E3 2019, including a detailed overview of Star Wars gameplay: Jedi Fallen Order and the new character coming from Apex Legends named Wattson. .
