E3 2019: Resident Evil, Evil Within, Director Teases Possible Announcement

[ad_1]

Shinji Mikami, the creator of some of the most famous horror games of all time, has teased the announcement of the E3 2019. By writing on Twitter in Japanese, the director of Resident Evil and Evil Within simply said, "First day of rehearsal, it's over."

Although the quote does not give too much, it seems a rather repetitive time to repeat, with all the E3 2019 press conferences about to be broadcast over the next few days. Tango Gameworks, Mikami's company, belongs to Bethesda. It is therefore possible that he repeats his participation in the press conference of the publisher. Bethesda has also appeared in recent years to introduce its new games in Microsoft's windows, while the publisher has recently introduced many of its games on Nintendo Switch.

As for Mikami's work, we are currently in the dark. Tango Gameworks has developed two games to date: The Evil Within and its sequel, The Evil Within 2. We awarded the latter 8/10 at its launch in 2017. "There are, however, some technical failures causing particularly frustrating moments and Strange rhythm problems, this sequel of horror enhances the horror story of survival, tense and percussive, "wrote critic Alessandro Fillari in our review of Evil Within 2." What does this game do? Cerebral horror is not totally new, but it rarely seems like a routine and offers a lot of surprises. After a long and astonishing 15-hour campaign, the sequel is doing an admirable job of intensifying tension and scare when it's necessary, while leaving you free to explore and do what you want. This is a difficult problem to balance, but The Evil Within 2 does it remarkably well and leaves a strong and lasting impression after its touching conclusion. "
