Trump did not specify what Deutsch, who hosts a political show on MSNBC on Saturday night, would have triggered the tweets. On Friday, Deutsch said in MSNBC's "Morning Joe" that Trump was a "despicable human being" for criticizing his political rivals on a "sacred ground" in Normandy, France.
In a follow-up message late Saturday night, Trump said he knew it was not "presidential" to fight back against "corrupt media," but he promised to continue the attacks.
"I know it's not at all" presidential "to respond to corrupt media, or to people who work for corrupt media, when they make false statements about me or the Trump administration ", did he declare.

Earlier in the day, Trump attacked MSNBC, saying that "almost everything they said was the opposite of the truth".

Trump often attacked the media, calling the negative coverage "false information" and calling the press "the enemy of the people".
