EAT YOUR CAKES DRAKE & # 39; S KIDS
I've covered the E3 PC Gaming Show in its entirety since its inception (I want to point out the years when I only covered it with Darren and another time, with only Chris Moyse) and I swear it take at least a year of my life.
Although the situation has improved over time, the 15-minute commercial "sketches" are staggering and many developers want to go on stage and spend 10 minutes showing a trailer that they've already shown, sometimes months in advance. Given the potential sponsorship deals to keep a show of this magnitude alive, we'll probably see more of the same stuff: but hey, it usually outperforms some of the most disastrous events of AAA publishers who have much higher expectations of our readers' polls. .
Last year, Drakes Cakes was the sponsor and they brought their Webster mascot to peddle sweet products throughout the presentation. After looking into the emptiness of his eyes (and his hole in the neck, where the wearer can see / breathe), I've somehow started to go crazy in a lovecraftian sense. Webster was actually named in 1981 as a result of a consumer contest, which awarded a $ 5,000 scholarship to its winner.
Did you know? It's amazing what video games can help us achieve. Oh, look at the PC Gaming Show with us this year too.
