Sarah Sanders, Press Secretary, Leaves White House, Trump Says

White House press secretary Sarah Sanders will step down at the end of June, President Donald Trump said Thursday.

"After three and a half years, our wonderful Sarah Huckabee Sanders will be leaving the White House at the end of the month to return home to the Great State of Arkansas," Trump told Twitter.

"This is a very special person with extraordinary talents, who has done an incredible job! I hope that she will decide to run for the position of Governor of Arkansas – she would be fantastic. Sarah, thank you for the job well done! "
