Terry Crews calls himself a king in Disney's Little Mermaid

Internet has been buzzing since Disney announced the star of his upcoming live-action adaptation for The Little Mermaid. But while Ariel's role goes to actress and musician Halle Bailey, another actor publicly asks Disney to get the role of King Triton, Ariel's father. publicly offering King Triton's role on his Twitter account. The fans seem to like this idea and join Crews to ask Disney to nominate the actor for the role of Ariel's father.

Fans seem excited to have Terry Crews in the role of King Triton. Crews has no problem with the muscular build that embodies the royal ocean. Twitter user Judie Levine highlighted these similarities in an image combining one of Terry Crews' photoshoots on men's health with Triton.

According to rumors, Melissa McCarthy would be in talks to play the villain, Ursula. Pirates of the Caribbean: The director of Stranger Tides, Rob Marshall, has been responsible for leading the live adaptation, whose production is expected to begin in early 2020. We are also planning a more comprehensive casting list in the near future, with some ads potentially saved for Disney's D23 Expo in August.
