SHREVEPORT, La. – Another apparent incident of ice cream licking in a store has surfaced. This time it is in Louisiana.

According to the sheriff's office of the Assumption Parish, a man posted a video of himself on Facebook, opening a container of Blue Bell ice cream, licking it, pushing it with his finger and putting it back on # 39; shelf.

According to news agencies, Lenise Martin III, 36, was charged on Saturday for altering his property and publishing criminal activities for notoriety and publicity.

The police commander, Lonny Cavalier, said that after being alerted by the direction of Martin's decision, the deputy ministers had found Martin showing the saleswoman a receipt stating that he had bought the ice cream that he was licking. MPs searched the freezer and confirmed the purchase, but still decided to go ahead with the accusations.

Cavalier told CNN that authorities believe Martin was inspired by a video taken earlier this month of a teenager in Texas taking ice cream in a Walmart freezer, pulling off the top to lick it and then putting it back.

"We think it's a copy incident," Cavalier told the network. "He did it and he wanted to create his own fame by posting it on Facebook and that's exactly what he did."
