Well, Tito Ortiz was quick to take part in another high profile fight.

On Tuesday afternoon, in an interview with Generation MMA, Campbell McLaren, CEO of Combate Americas, announced that the UFC Hall of Fame would make its debut in "The Jaula" alongside # Alberto El Patron, better known as the former WWE Superstar, Alberto Del Rio.

MMAFighting will later confirm that the fight would take place at a catch weight of 210 pounds.

In terms of competition, "The Bad Boy Huntington Beach" recently came out of retirement for a third fight against Chuck Liddell at the Golden Boy MMA, avenging previous defeats with a violent KO in the first round. Earlier, Ortiz had won a bid win over Chael Sonnen at the Bellator 170 event in 2017.

Del Rio (9-5), whose real name is José Alberto Rodríguez, had already announced his intention to return to the world of MMA last October. Former Luchador, who has made a name for himself as a masked Dos Caras Jr., has not made the move since losing to Yamamoto Hanshi in the second round at Cage of Combat 4 in February 2010. Combat back-to-back wins.

Prior to this winning streak, Del Rio set a 3-2 record in Japan's Deep promotion, before signing with Pride FC, where fans saw Mirko Cro Cop head to head against him.

Although no date or place were set for the fight, the promotions managers confirmed that they were targeting the last quarter of 2019.
