Disney recalls a Forky toy because of a choking hazard, elegantly arranging the plot of Toy Story 5

the Toy Story the films have covered just about every aspect of a toy's life, from replacing a top astronaut-type toy, to a creepy toy collector, to an evil bear, and almost cremated, then passing on your knowledge of the toy to the next generation. Toys made from garbage, but one thing they've never had to deal with is the terror of being reminded. Just imagine it: Sensitive toys are thrown in a trash can with thousands of identical toys, none of which knows where they are and why they are there, and before they can trace a thrilling escape, they are all destroyed or shipped to a less discriminating toy market. Well, you do not have to imagine it anymore, because that dark fate is exactly what a Forky toy of real life is going to suffer now.

As reported by Screen Crush, the Disney Parks Twitter account announced this week that the company was "voluntarily recalling" a Forky stuffed toy because of a "manufacturing defect" that could apparently result in a choking hazard for young children (like Bonnie!) It's good that they are remembered, then, but we hope that the children who own them do not have to be explained why their dear stuffy Forky has to leave. Nobody needs to be told that his toy is being sent to death. On the other hand, if these kids are Pixar fans, they probably know the tragedy very well, so they might appreciate the irony of Forky, a character who is constantly trying to get thrown.
