Mike Trout is number 45 to honor Tyler Skaggs in the AL All-Star Game win

Trout expressed the same feeling when the Angels played their first game after the defeat of Skaggs. He and Skaggs were nominees selected by the 15 Selections Angels in 2009. They lived together during the early years of their career, in Tempe Arizona and then Cedar Rapids in Iowa. In 2010, an exchange of Skaggs against the Diamondbacks separated them, but they were reunited four years later, when the Angels took over the pitcher before the 2014 season.
