The Corvette C8 2020 will not be unveiled in less than ten days, but YouTuber has released what it claims to be an undisguised photo of the much-anticipated sports car.

Although the quality is not great, the photo shows that the model will have an aggressive front fascia with aggressive air intakes. More significant changes occur further because the car has a flatter hood and lighter headlights.

Additional details are hard to pin down, but we can see new mirrors and prominent side buckets that open into wide rear fenders. The low quality makes it difficult to confirm the authenticity of the image, but several elements correspond to the previous spying photos – but not to all.

Whether or not the Corvette 2020, a supposed image of the rear of the car was introduced earlier this week. This image showed that the model would have a ventilated rear fascia with a hexagonal cutout for the license plate. The image also offered a glimpse of all-new taillights and a prominent diffuser flanked by a four-piece sports exhaust system.

Chevrolet has been discreet about the new-generation Corvette, but the model will be unveiled July 18 at 19:30. While the company remains cautious about certain details, the entry-level model should retain the name Stingray and use an updated 6.2-liter V8 engine, dubbed LT2.

Nothing is official, but reports suggest that the engine will have a power between 480 hp (358 kW / 487 hp) and 500 hp (373 kW / 507 hp). According to rumors, the output torque could reach about 480 Nm (480 lb-ft).

We will have more to say about the Corvette 2020 in the near future, so stay tuned for more details.
