Milwaukee brewery recalls "explosive" beers

MILWAUKEE, Wisc. (WLS) – A Wisconsin brewery is voluntarily recalling a beer that could cause the bottles to explode.

The Lakefront Brewery brewery in Milwaukee says the yeast in the "My Turn Junk" cherry beer could continue to ferment, increasing the pressure in the bottles.

The beer itself is safe and until now no one has been hurt or officially complained.

The company offers a refund to people who take a photo of the back label of the bottle and send it to [email protected] with an address by October 1st.
