A few days ago, Windows Central announced that Ben Irving, the lead producer of the anthem, was leaving BioWare. This has been considered by many as a blow because it is he who openly discusses future projects and who communicates with unsatisfied players of the title. However, it seems that departures have not abated.
Today, PC Gamer announced that BioWare had attended another start. "Fernando Melo, lead producer of the upcoming BioWare game in Dragon Age, has left the studio after Anthem lead producer Ben Irving in front of the door."
Melo has worked at BioWare for over ten years and was the lead producer of titles like Dragon Age 2. He has extensive experience and it seems that the team is losing a very talented individual. Melo's future plans are unclear, but we wish him the best of luck, no matter what project he accepts. Let's hope that the development of Dragon Age 4 will not suffer from this departure.
