The body of a man was found at Granbury Lake on Friday, a day after his 3-year-old daughter was found drifting in their boat.
The Hood County Sheriff's deputies were called to the lake around 9 am Friday, after a toddler was found floating alone in the boat.
Officials said the 32-year-old's father had launched the boat from the boat launch at Granbury City Beach around 5 pm. Thursday. At one point during their trip, officials said the father had entered the lake, WFAA-TV reported.
The girl told investigators that her father "was going to swim," according to the station.
The authorities found the body of Oscar Robledo, 36, shortly after 17:30. Friday. They identified him as the missing father, sheriff Roger Deeds said Saturday.
Robledo's body was transported to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy, officials said.
The girl was healthy when MPs found her.
