A security officer at a New York airport was fired for handing a passenger a handwritten note saying "You're ugly !!!"

The June incident was unearthed this week after passenger Neal Strassner got a security video via a public registration application and posted it on YouTube.

The video from the Greater Rochester International Airport shows the worker handing the note to Strassner after passing through a metal detector.

Strassner says he did not think much about it and continued to his door. It is then that he says the woman shouted, "Are you going to open the note?"

Strassner says that when he did, the woman burst out laughing. He then complained to his supervisors.

The Transportation Security Administration says the woman was working for a contractor. The agency says to have "zero tolerance for this type of behavior".
