Palo Alto, executive vice president of global sales, retires

Aug. 16 (Reuters) – Palo Alto Networks Inc. announced Friday that its senior vice president of international sales, Dave Peranich, was retiring after three years in the cybersecurity firm.

Shares of the company closed down 7.2% on Friday, after the Information Information Web site announced the departure for the first time. (Http://bit.ly/2NgnS2u)

Peranich will leave Palo Alto at the end of September, the company said, adding that the search for his replacement was underway.

In June, the company named former SoftBank Group Corp chairman Nikesh Arora as chief executive and chairman of the board, and Google veteran Amit Singh was named president in October. (Report by Ayanti Bera in Bengaluru, edited by Maju Samuel)
